Dear High Schoolers who ride the MUNI,
While the vehicle in reference vaguely (at best) resembles a school bus--a vehicle typically utilized to transport your kind from your home to your school--it is in fact public transportation. What this means is that you are sharing it with other residents of San Francisco and some basic protocol should be followed so that you don't come off as inconsiderate, little punks.
First: you're not that big. It doesn't take more than one seat to accommodate your small and awkwardly disproportionate, adolescent frame. It also isn't "cool" to lounge across multiple seats as though you're posing for a photo shoot. No one is taking pictures of you (probably because of your small and awkwardly disproportionately adolescent frame). So sit like a civilized human being being--upright.
Another thing: no one wants to listen to your music. Use headphones. That's why they were invented--personal listening devices. In fact, they existed long before you acquired your fancy cell phone that can play a whopping 4 different songs on a loop over a crappy and distorted speaker. No one is impressed. 3/4 of the city's population has an iPhone.
Lastly: while your conversation amongst your peers may seem interesting to you, the truth is no one on the MUNI cares that Rachel flunked P.E. The point is, stop yelling when you're talking to your friends. They're sitting next to you, and they probably can hear you just fine while talking in a normal voice. Although, it might help if you turned your god damn music down.
That's it. See how remarkably easy it is to be an unoffensive MUNI rider?
Sincerely,
Duy
